Planning

For this project i will be using a lot of videos because they will have some on that will be analysing some factors which will deepen my knowledge. Also the way that think is the best in order to have more thoughtful and accurate information is that i will be reading the same information about two times to take from it the most important information then i will right down the information. After wards, i will analyse many the many different information and try to give a little interpretation. Since my project is about Hollywood, i will be doing a lot of comparison from the old Hollywood and the Hollywood today and what it means. Hopefully by following this steps, i will have a successful research project

Letter From a soldure

Dear Mom and Dad,

I am here in Germany fighting for America. Even though it is my choice, I deeply regret it. It is one of those moments in life where you take a step but can't ever go back. I do not know if I will ever come back alive, or even dead. I have been begging the Generals to send me back home when the next troops will be coming. For the time being I have no choice but under go this awkward situation. I do not know when I will be able to see you. I miss you so much, and you are the only reason why continue fighting. I sometimes act sick in order for me to stay and not go to the battlefields. However this does not guarantee that I will come back. Over here everything is bout friendship, when we do things right we help ourselves and our friends survive. Nevertheless, when we do a little mistake it may cause a big disaster. A big friendship has been built; in fact I consider all of them are like my brothers. The food that we eat her is nothing close to the food that I had back home. The quantities are not enough to feed starving solders, which have been fighting for a whole day. The comfort of being in a house is one of the things that I sis the most as u folds know I have always been extremely sensitive person, and today I have to fight, hurt, and even kill people. I am heartbroken. I always think to myself what if these people had children waiting for them in their home. What if these people had families awaiting for the. The next telegram these people will receive is to announce to them the death of their father, son, brother, or husband. A beloved person who they will never see again. I cry every night praying to God for forgiveness. I don’t know if you remember my  friend James who went with me to college and came with me her. Well he died three days ago. It has been the biggest shock of my life. I was extremely close to home, and every thing we did was together. One day we were walking back to our trenches when all of a sudden there he was falling slowly on his knees looking at me with tears scrolling down his cheeks and he spoke his last words “William, I love you.” Theses words will forever stay in my mind. I cried all the tears in my body, while I was lying next to his dead body, I then decided that James was not like all the other solders; James deserved a real funeral. So did it to him all alone and a few folds from the trench came over and dropped a few tears of sadness.

In the dusty trenches, his sleeping bag was next to mine. Now the only thing next to me is the empty hay. Mice, Rats, and snakes crawl over us at night; at first I was horrified so I didn’t get any sleep. Now I am used to it. I have plunged into depression. The dust covers us every night and day, furthermore we don’t have a place to shower. Every night before I sleep I look at our family picture with Franklin, Joseph, and Nicolas. I miss all of you folks! What do these guys do by now? Last letter Nicolas sent me he said that he had been about to head to Boston because he has been accepted in Harvard. I am proud of my little brother! Did Joseph get married to Demitrea? I miss them tell them they should send their brother letters to keep him updated. I love you all miss you so much you will always be in my heart.

Love,

William

Teenager Difficulties

For me the teenage period in a human life is the hardest, and there are multiple reasons to support my idea. First basically what a teenager means is the time period in life when a child is growing up to be an adult, and it is generally during that time period that a person makes their choices in life and what type of person they want to be. For some teenagers, this is the hardest part of their lives, however with the help of their parents they get threw their hard times. One of the issues is the fact that some parents lack of presence in their children lives or they are not strict enough thus the teenager has too much freedom. A parent should really take their role seriously when their child has reached teenage period. A teenager does not want to show it but they need the presence of their parents at that time and some times when there are parent issues such as divorce or separation a teenager suffers very much so they will try finding a way to express their feeling by doing something bad such as revolting, taking drugs, smoking, and much more. When a parent helps lead their teenagers on the right track during that time period, even if it is tough but they need to do it for the benefit of their child as well as their own pride of having raised a well educated child. A parent should leave some privacy for their child but still be able to control them because if the child is out of control, they will not even have enough time to realize it that it is too late get anything out of this child. Some parents will just say that their child would not listen to them but a parent is the one that should know how to get their own child's respect and attention. To conclude, a teenager should just have some confidence and faith in themselves then they will end up knowing who they are, what type of person they want to be in the future, also how they want to be a part of the society in the future and generally it is rare that a person chooses to be a bad part of the society.

what is a progressive thinker.

Nowadays, the country of Morocco is facing a few social issues that will probably will be solved threw out the years. The main cause of this issue is the lack of education. The reason that the lack of education is a part of our society is not because the government is not giving the opportunity to people who do not have enough money but because some of the people with a low income prefer using their children for them to work either in their own farms in order for them to produce more goods or for they take them the city and make them work illegally. Generally this issue is mostly in rural areas. In view of the fact that the parents do not go to school, they are not aware of the importance of education in a childs life. In some of the cases the children are mistreated or set to do things no child on earth would want to do, thus they escape or some are orphans and do not have any family members so they end up on the streets.
A political issue that has been lasting for many years. About 35 years ago, the Sahara (which is entirly Moroccan) has been a freed by the Spanish which has been occupying the Sahara for many years finally freed it after the green march which was held by the the king Hasan II. Even though, the Sahara was freed by these invaders, Algeria and Spain are still fighting for the Sahara. even though this issue is being discused  in united nations and the interational court of justice in the Hague has called it a part of Morocco, this coutries are still fighting for the Sahara. All this fighting is for the honor and the fossil fuels that have been discovered there. For me it is non sense fighting

Imperialism

After using the Princeton dictionary, the clearest answer they had given was “policy of extending your rule over foreign countries”. The American imperialism had its pros and cons which i will discuss. The major benefit was that with the help of the U.S.A the other country would have an economic uplift. For example, the Panama Canal helped firstly with the economy, also the transportation was more common and it also lead to the independence of Cuba, Panama and Philippines. Because of the imperialism, the United States was the worlds most powerful country which helped the rest of the work with many things such as, The Worlds economy due to many factors. Moreover, the United States helped many other under developed countries to develop however, the U.S was not the only country to do that France, england, and many more european countries were doing that and Today we as Moroccans are effected by the way that France has helped us in many ways and lead us to where we are today. To me one of the main Cons to this system is when a country has no freedom and are entirely controled by the United States, thus they do not have a say. Furthermore, I think that imperialism has more cons and that strongly developed countries should continue using this system with no violanc like the United states is doing today to Irak. in additon to this the loss of culture is very bad because the nation does not know who they are andy more and where they come from. Also it would be better if it is with the consentment of the country that is concerned and if it is changed more into a contract, or pact between the two nations.

Our invention

Dear Mr. Buffet,

I am contacting you today to offer you a profitable invention. My partner, Myriam and I have decided to create a new industry. We are known as The M's. Today, after we have done various inventions we would like to present our newest invention. Our logo is we find everything, and we really do. People usually lose their things in the most unusual places. Furthermore, they can lose very
important documents and important objects.

We would like
to present you the MFA (micro-find anything.) This is a machine that has the size of a pencil. This little object will have microscopic cards. When you want to use them you simply have to press them against the object you want and the microscopic card will automatically be inserted inside the thing you want to keep. Of course this is not the only thing, this object will have a a tactile screens will keep all your data stored. You will only have to click on the object you want to find and it will give you the exact location. You will no longer need to wait for the beeping sounds to get faster. One simple click and the location will be found. Our invention will be first sold in China, since they are very advanced technologically we would like to start there. Then move on the the States and European regions. Finally we will move to Morocco and other less developed countries. This is because we would like to start with countries that are advanced economically then when we have enough money open new stores in less developed countries.

Name of Company: The M's

Products of Company: Products that will help you find anything.

Horizontal Nature of the Company:

China

Screens:

The screens will be provided by whithner, this industry is located in china.

The microscopic cards will be provided by USB microSD, again in China.

This is advantageous because things will not have to be shipped from one place to another, therefore we will gain profit. These companies are very reliable and their prices are very advantageous. Not only that but the workers are treated respectfully. The health are respected in every single way.

Vertical Nature of the Company (Explain each & where it is located):

Our company is an industry. We get our products from other places and combine them
to create a brand new project. These other companies are doing their usual job, therefore they will not put the prices too high on us. Buying and Combining at the lowest price and creating a new invention at a high price is our main idea.

Ener
gy

The industries get their energy from fossil fuels. Unfortunately it is polluting, but as a goal we would like to change the industry
into a non polluting industry.
Raw Materials:

Metal, plastic, and glass

Labor

The work has to be done by professionals. We will not accept people that do not have prior knowledge on what we are doing. We would like to have workers that have finished their studies. Of course the prices will vary depending on how much studies the person has done. This will then help me conclude which post they will have in the industry. One group of workers will work 5 days a week, the ot
her will work during the weekend. They will work from 7 am till 8 pm. They will have one hour lunch break and they will be tested for any illnesses before getting in this industry. We also have a agreement with an insurance company. Therefore any damages caused by one of our workers will be payed by them. If a worker gets sick they will get one day off and if they miss more than 3 days they will need a note from a specialized doctor that justifies their absence. If it is justified they will get days off if it is not they will be momentarily suspended with no pay. This is to give a example to other workers since we want a lot of work to be done.

Government & Regulations

The government agreed with us. They think that this is a thoughtful invention that will help the life of millions of people. They agreed to let us use a old piece of land to build our little industry. As our fortune
gets bigger we would like to expand our industry to another piece of land and get more workers to apply. The government also agreed on our health insurance and health regulations. They have agreed to support us if we have a issue with another company in the future.

Profit

Our company will make profit by not using a lot of transportation. We will only need to transport our products to one place if the country decides to sell our products. We will receive about 70 percent of the total income. The other 20 percent will go to the industries that provide us with the material we use. The other companies agreed on letting us pay 5 percent of the workers pay. This will help us reduce the price of the materials.
Therefore, the prices for the products will be less expensive.

Now that we are
millionaires :)

We would like to spend money on reducing pollution in earth. We already mentioned this earlier, but the pollution of earth is a big issue in the world. Reducing it would be a grand achievement. As
a start we would like to change the industry we work in and the industries we work with as energy efficient industries. Another project we would like to work on is help of poor countries, having lot of money is not to be spendt only on your own self you also have to help people in need. We would like to provide them with water, food, money and education. This will help them learn more and have a great health.

Basicaly with this invention we are planning on helping the earth since we are the only generation that can still do something to save our planet before it is too late!

Morocco

For the past few years Morocco has been facing a few difficulties with transportation. Today Morocco is building Tramways (even though it has been a problem for a few points). Also Today the king of Morocco signed the authorization to build the TGV from Casablanca to Tangiers. Tanger Med a VERY big port in the Mediterranean sea. It is a big mediteranean port and it is going to have an impact in the economic in the north of Morocco. There is now a project of Solar Energy in Ouarzazat it is going to be one of the most Biggest solar energy project in the world. There is a royal project to fight against povrety by giving some money to very poor people to start a business (it is called Initiative Nationale pour le Developpement Humain). Also Morocco is now building many highways.

Socratic Seminar

Last class we were suppose to have a calm and thoughtful Socratic seminar and unfortunately many of the people in our class were out of order. Miss.Conway had a hard time controlling us and making us pay attention. Thus this made it harder to listen to what was happening in class, but a few good points helped flashed me. For example how the change should occure. I thought that there was a good debate over that question. some of the people thought that change should occure quickly for example after a war they should arrange everything rapidly. others thought that the change shoudl occure slowly in things such as laws and all so that every body has time to get used to things. Hanane, Meryem, and Shemsi did come up with a good ideas concerning this topic. Everyone were having their own point of views. A few were taking notes while others were participating. The seminar could not be continued because of our intolerable behavior. The way i could have done better is if i didnt listen to the people that were annoying me and concentrated at a 100%. Sorry miss. Conway for what happened.

No Haitians were seen escaping to florida

After the very harsh earthquakes the Haitians have faces a Natural disaster. They had an earthquake of magnitude 7.0 on the Richter scale, this was already a big disaster for the people. many of them have lost their homes, husbands, wives, children, parents, and loved ones. not only is it that they are under the shock by they fear a big after shock.
Since the united states government knows that all the people are living in a very stressed environment. Everybody is trying to survive this catastrophe, so they think that a lot of people are going to attempt the illegal immigration to Florida. According to their last updates, they said that nobody attempted to do so they have taken all the necessary precautions such as providing 10,000 shelters for them.
I think that is good that they help the people that do not have been affected by an incredible precaution. Also they are looking forwards to help people through helicopters using radios to say where help is necessary.

Johnson took Abraham Lincoln and changed it a little bit by removing the law of having 10 percent citizens in order to form a constitutional convention.

The black code was a law for freemen only, it was what stopped them from doing what the whole men did. Black people were not allowed to meet after sunset.
Vagrancy:
This law said that if freedom did not work, they would be slayed and they would be sold again as slaves.
Labor Contracts:
This was a contact that made the slaves work for one year and if they decided to quit in the middle of that year they would loose the money the made.
Land Restrictions:
This law said that the freed slaves could rent houses or lands in the countryside so that they would work in plantations.

THE UNITED STATES TIME.

After four years of constant war,and it has finally ended. Solders regain their homes and find their whole environment very different then the way they had left it. It had been destroyed and metamorphosed. They barely recognized it. Also the life style of the people had changed, children had become orphans, women had become widows, and families were destroyed. For the solders this welcome wasn't a warm welcome. Almost nothing was left, the agriculture fields, the factories and the railroads were demolished.
The slavery was starting to diminish. About four million freed slaves had decided to start a new life an to working in poor regions with slow economics. The ones who decided to stay slaves had received food, water and shelter even thou they are deficient. However many slaves were neglected and abandoned.  Some of them were freed but decided to work at their previous masters fields. The rest moved to the West to find jobs.
After the death of Abraham Lincoln in 1863 President Andrew Johnson taken over. He used to serve as vice president to Lincoln. His services can not be judged yet since he was elected just a few months ago.
"1. It pardoned southerns who swore allegiance to the Union.
2. It permitted each state to hold a constitutional conventional (with Lincoln's 10 percent allegiance requirement).
3. State were then to void secession, abolish slavery, and repudiate the Confederation debt.
4. State could then hold elections and rejoin the union." American Pathway textbook
Johnson's Reconstruction Plan was like Lincoln's. Johnson did not have the 10% law in which 10% of voters in the state swore allegiance to the Union. Also Johnson's plan was a lot more generous to the South. It denied the remission of the legal consequences of an event or conviction to all Confederate leaders.

THE WAR F TODAY

Today the was between America and Afghanistan is still going on. It all started in 2001. It has negative effects for both parties. For America, which is a big nation and has a high economic stuatus. The war is costing them many useless expenses. The president of the united states Barack Obama had decided to reduce the troups since he wants to stop this war. Afghanistan that has a low economic status is lossing alot of money. This war distroyed what what has already been built by the Afghans. They have a poor resource of water and of food, and now with this war it is decreasing. There are incoscent people that are dying since this war is basically between the Amercians and the Terrorists,  children and adults are loosing their lives for no reasons. Today the people are fed up with this war so they decided to revolt even though the country is in a lot of trouble.

Ken Burner

All of the slaves were mistreated. They had too much work and weren’t rewarded for this. They sometimes could buy there liberty or escape but at some point they would be kidnapped again and would be sold again. The slaves in the south were better treated than the ones in the north beause the ones in the north had more work than the ones in the south. This is why the economics of the north were higher than the ones in the south. Slaves used to cost a lot of money that people took care of them so that they would not die easily. One day a slave named Mat Turner had decided to revault with 30 other slaves. They decided to kill other white people. This revolution didn't help them alot.

North vs. South

The north part of America has always been superior to the southern part. They had north part had 100,000 factories and South had 20,000. The north had more advanced technology. They had 70% of the roads in the united states. They had a lot of telegrams and they had facility to trade.
The southern part respected the slaves more than the northern part. There was a tension between these two parts. The southern part had a fertile land and crops grew easily.  The tension was growing this is what lead to the civil war.

Important events about Civil War

The Compromise of 1850 and the Figurative Slave Act
During that time there was a hesitation about slavery. People didnt know if they should allow slavery or if it was a free land or should the citizens choose what they wanted. There slaves were very needed in many states such as California since there was gold there. The Slaves had no rights and it made them angry and so they wanted to rebel.
THE KANSAS-NEBRASKA ACT
There was a formation of two clans since the citizens were disagreeing on weather or not there should be slaves. This is important since there was a war between the two clans.
THE ELECTIONS OF 1860 BRINGS ABRAHAM LINCOLN TO THE WHITE HOUSE
Abraham Lincoln was against Slavery. He ran for president twice and won the second time. There was a conflict in the United States because Abraham Lincoln was against slavery so the people that were for slavery rebelled. This is what lead to the civil war.

Solar Power

The King of Morocco has come up with the idea of building very big solar panels in the city's of Ouarzata, Boujdour, and Terfaya. The two main reasons for this project is primarly because Morocco has no natural resources such as petrolium. Second of all the for environment reasons since they are going to save the rejection of 3 million tons of carbon dioxide. This will bring less pollution to Morocco. Also since the only natural resource is the sun so the government wants to use it in an efficient way. This project will cost about nine billion dollars.
